More on D'Piper G

The Baltimore Sun has a detailed article about the DLA/Piper Rudnick merger (stat check: 2,462 attorneys, $1.5b in turnover). In it, they reveal that former U.S. senator and D.C.-based partner George Mitchell will be the firm's chair, while Baltimore's Francis B. Burch Jr., Chicago's Lee I. Miller, and London's Nigel Knowles will all be co-chief executives.

The article also details some of the troubles other firms have had with merging and expanding overseas. CC could've told you that.
